The Pullup See muscles involved Primary Muscles Involved Latissimus Dorsi, Rhomboids, Teres Major Other Muscles Involved Biceps, Forearms (gripping the bar) Execution Grip the bar with hands wider than shoulder width apart and arms relatively straight (Starting Position). Pull elbows back and down until your body rises high enough for your chin to clear the bar (Finishing Position). Tips and Safety Avoid kicking. A wider grip will emphasize the back muscles while a narrower grip will emphasize the biceps. |
